Public Notice No. 68 dated 3^rd February 1999

Attention is invited to Paragraph 7.8 of the Export and Import Policy 1997-2002, as amended and Paragraphs 7.8, 7.9 and 7.10 of the Handbook of Procedures, Vol.1, 1997-2002, as amended and also to the Handbook of Procedures, Vol.2, 1997-2002 as amended from time to time.

2.      In exercise of the powers conferred under Paragraph 4.11 of the Export & Import Policy 1997-2002, as amended, the Director General of Foreign Trade hereby makes the following amendments/ modifications and additions in the Handbook of Procedures, Vol.2 - 1997-2002, as amended.

3.      In the statement of Standard Input-Output Norms as contained in the Handbook of Procedures, Vol.2, 1997-2002, as amended, amendments/ corrections at appropriate places as mentioned in Annexure "A" to this Public Notice shall be made.

4.      In the statement of Standard Input-Output Norms, following additions shall be made at appropriate places as mentioned below:

Chemicals and Allied Products:

After the existing entry at Sl.No.A-2160, the new entries from Sl.No.A-2161 to A-2181 shall be added as per Annexure "B" to this Public Notice.

Electronics Products:

After the existing entry at Sl.No.B-226, the new entry as Sl.No.B-227 shall be added as per Annexure "C" to this Public Notice.

Engineering Products:

After the existing entry at Sl.No.C-1385, the new entries from Sl.No.C-1386 to C-1400 shall be added as per Annexure "D" to this Public Notice.

Food Products:

After the existing entry at Sl.No.E-71, the new entry as Sl.No.E-72 shall be added as per Annexure "E" to this Public Notice.

Plastic Products:

After the existing entry at Sl.No.H-397, the new entries from Sl.No.H-398 to H-400 shall be added as per Annexure "F" to this Public Notice.

Sports Goods:

After the existing entry at Sl.No.I-24, the new entry as Sl.No.I-25 shall be added as per Annexure "G" to this Public Notice.
