Public Notice No. 32 dated 1^st September 2000

Attention is invited to Paragraph 4.11 of the Export and Import Policy 1997-2002, as amended and Paragraphs 7.8 and 7.10 of the Handbook of Procedures, Vol.1, 1997-2002, as amended and also to the Handbook of Procedures, Vol.2, 1997-2002, as amended from time to time.

2.      In exercise of the powers conferred under Paragraph 4.11 of the Export and Import Policy 1997-2002, as amended, the Director General of Foreign Trade hereby makes the following amendments/ modifications and additions in the Handbook of Procedures, Vol.2, 1997-2002, as amended.

3.      In the statement of Standard Input Output Norms as contained in the Handbook of Procedures, Vol.2, 1997-2002, as amended, amendments/ corrections at appropriate places as mentioned in Annexure "A" to this Public Notice shall be made.

4.      In the statement of Standard Input-Out Norms, following additions shall be made at appropriate places as mentioned below:

Chemicals and Allied Products:

After the existing entry at Sl. No. A-2449, the new entries from Sl. No. A-2450 to A-2469 shall be added as per Annexure "B" to this Public Notice.

Food Products:

After the existing entry at Sl. No. E-73 the new entry at Sl. No. E-74 shall be added as per Annexure "C" to this Public Notice.

Plastic Products:

After the existing entry at Sl. No. H-414, the new entries from Sl. No. H-415 to H-416 shall be added as per Annexure "D" to this Public Notice.

Textile Products:

After the existing entry at Sl. No. J-324, the new entries from Sl. No. J325 to J326 shall be added as per Annexure "E" to this Public Notice.

Miscellaneous Products:

After the existing entry at Sl. No. K-126, the new entry at Sl. No. K-127 shall be added as per Annexure "F" to this Public Notice
