Public Notice No. 53 dated 1^st February 2001 (As amended as vide Public Notice No. 57/ 2001, Dt. 20/ 02/ 2001.)

Attention is invited to Paragraph 4.11 of the Export and Import Policy 1997-2002, as amended and Paragraphs 7.8 and 7.10 of the Handbook of Procedures, Vol.1, 1997-2002, as amended and also to the Handbook of Procedures, Vol.2, 1997-2002, as amended from time to time.

2.      In exercise of the powers conferred under Paragraph 4.11 of the Export and Import Policy 1997-2002, as amended, the Director General of Foreign Trade hereby makes the following amendments/ modifications and additions in the Handbook of Procedures, Vol.2, 1997-2002, as amended.

3.      In the statement of Standard Input Output Norms as contained in the Handbook of Procedures, Vol.2, 1997-2002, as amended, amendments/ corrections at appropriate places as mentioned in Annexure �A� to this Public Notice shall be made.

4.      In the statement of Standard Input Output Norms, following additions shall be made at appropriate places as mentioned below:

Chemicals and Allied Products:

After the existing entry at S.No.A-2525, the new entries from Sl.No.A-2526 to A-2537 shall be added as per Annexure �B� to this Public Notice.

Electronics Products:

After the existing entry at Sl.No.B-227, the new entries from Sl.No.B-228 to B-230 shall be added as per Annexure "C� to this Public Notice.

Engineering Products:

After the existing entry at Sl.No.C-1582, the new entries from Sl.No.C-1583 to C-1592 shall be added as per Annexure �D� to this Public Notice.

Food Products:

After the existing entry at Sl.No.E-93, the new entry Sl.No.E-94 shall be added as per Annexure �E� to this Public Notice.

Plastic Products:

After the existing entry at Sl.No.H-435, the new entries Sl.Nos.H-436 to H-437 shall be added as per Annexure �F� to this Public Notice.
