Public Notice No. 9 dated 1^st May 2000

Attention is invited to Paragraph 4.11 of the Export and Import Policy 1997-2002, as amended and Paragraphs 7.8 and 7.10 of the Handbook of Procedures, Vol. 1, 1997-2002, as amended and also to the Handbook of Procedures, Vol.2, 1997-2002, as amended from time to time.

2.      In exercise of the powers conferred under Paragraph 4.11 of the Export and Import Policy 1997-2002, as amended, the Director General of Foreign Trade hereby makes the following amendments/ modifications and additions in the Handbook of Procedures, Vol.2, 1997-2002, as amended.

3.      In the statement of Standard Input Output Norms as contained in the Handbook of Procedures, Vol.2, 1997-2002, as amended, amendments/ corrections at appropriate places as mentioned in Annexure 'W' to this Public Notice shall be made.

4.      In the statement of Standard Input Output Norms, following additions shall be made at appropriate places as mentioned below:

Chemicals and Allied Products:

After the existing entry at SI. No.A-2403, the new entries from SI. No.A-2404 to A-2428 shall be added as per Annexure "B" to this Public Notice.

Engineering Products:

After the existing entry at SI. No.C-1521, the new entries from SI. No.C-1522 to C-1530 shall be added as per Annexure "C" to this Public Notice.

Leather Products:

After the existing entry at SI. No.G-46, a new entry SI. No.G-47 shall be added as per Annexure "C" to this Public Notice.

Textile Products:

After the existing entry at SI.NoJ-311, a new entry SI.NoJ-312 shall be added as per Annexure "C" to this Public Notice.

5.      In the Hand Book of Procedures (Vol-2) 1997-2002, as amended, Input Output Norms are valid, in some cases, upto a specified period. In all such cases, validity of Input Output Norms shall stand extended upto 30th September, 2000.
