Fixation/ Modification of Standard Input Output Norms
Public Notice No. 18 dated 22nd June 1998
Attention is invited to Paras 7.8, 7.9 and 7.10 of Handbook of Procedures, Vol.1, 1997-2002, published under the Ministry of Commerce Public Notice No.1/ 1997-2002 dated 31.3.1997 and Handbook of Procedure, Vol.2, 1997-2002 published under the Ministry of Commerce Public Notice No.2/ 1997-2002 dated 31.3.1997.
2. In the statement of Standard Input-Output Norms as contained in the Handbook of Procedure, Vol.2, amendments/ corrections at appropriate places as mentioned in Annexure "A" to this Public Notice shall be made.
3. In the statement of Standard Input-Output Norms, following additions shall be made at appropriate places as mentioned below:
Chemicals and Allied Products:
After Entry No.A-2062, the new entries from Sl.No.A-2063 to A-2079 shall be added as per Annexure "B" to this Public Notice.
Electronics Products:
After Entry No.B-221, the new entries from Sl.No.B-222 to B-223 shall be added as per Annexure "C" to this Public Notice.
Engineering Products:
After Entry No.C-1344, the new entries from Sl.No.C-1345 to C-1358 shall be added as per Annexure "D" to this Public Notice.
Plastic Products:
After Entry No.H-382, the new entries from Sl.No.H-383 to H-386 shall be added as per Annexure "E" to this Public Notice.
Miscellaneous Products:
After Entry No.K-111, the new entry as Sl.No.K-112 shall be added as per Annexure "F" to this Public Notice.
4. This issues in public interest.

Besides, the following norms have been altered/ amended/ deleted vide this Public Notice:

Leather & Leather Products: S.No. G1, G2, G11, G19, G20, G21, G27, G36, G38, G41, G42, G3, G8, G9, G10, G12, G13, G14, G15, G22, G23, G24, G25, G26, G28, G29, G35, G37, G40, G33, G39;
Plastic Products: S.No. p99;
Miscellaneous Products: S.No. K20, K60.
