Pyridine imports probed |
China's Ministry of Commerce (MOFCOM) announced Monday that it would extend anti-dumping investigations on pyridine imports from Japan and India.
The one-year investigations were launched on September 21, 2012, but the MOFCOM decided to extend the deadline by two months to November 21 of this year, due to the "special and complex conditions of the case," the MOFCOM said.
Investigation authorities are to examine whether and to what extent these imports affected the Chinese pyridine industry.
Pyridine is an organic compound used as an important raw material and solvent in the production of pesticides, drugs, animal feed, food additives and other chemicals.
