Rupee slips 12 paise; opens at 67.77 per dollar |
The Indian rupee declined in the early trade on Wednesday. It has opened lower by 12 paise at 67.77 per dollar versus 67.65 Tuesday.
Himanshu Arora of Religare said, "USD-INR pair expected to trade higher amid overall pessimism. Weakness in Yuan may also keep rupee under pressure."
"Range for USD-INR seen between 67.48-68/dollar," he said.
The dollar posted modest gains as investor risk appetite improves on the back of expectation of further stimulus in China.
