Rupee marginally down against dollar in early trade |

Indian rupee declined against the greenback in morning trade on Tuesday. Rupee was marginally down by 3 paise or 0.07% against USD to Rs 55.60 (09.25 a.m.).
At 09.25 a.m, the Sensex was trading up 2.34 points or 0.01% at 17,635.79 with 16 components gaining. Meanwhile, the Nifty was trading higher by 0.10 points or 0.00% at 5,348.00 with 26 components gaining.
In the spot market, the Dollar Index decreased 0.05% to 82.39 (23:40 ET).
Euro - USD was trading at 1.23 up 0.08% while USD - Japanese Yen was trading at 78.42 up 0.13% (22:03 ET).
