Rupee Gains 19 Paise Against US Dollar to 49.83 |

Indian rupee gained against the greenback in morning trade on Monday. Rupee was higher by 19 paise or 0.37% against USD to Rs 49.83 compared to previous close of 50.02 (9.32 a.m.).
In the spot market, the Dollar Index decreased 0.93% to 76.32. It touched a high of 76.53 and a low of 76.32 after opening at 76.44 (23:53 ET).
Euro - USD was trading at 1.38 down 0.1349% while USD - Japanese Yen was trading at 76.25 down 0.0472% (23:56 ET).
