Rupee falls 4 paise against US dollar |

Indian rupee declined against the greenback in morning trade on Friday. Rupee was down by 4 paise or 0.08% against USD at Rs 55.63 compared to previous close of 55.59 (09.37 a.m.).
In the spot market, the Dollar Index increased to 83.86 (23:55 ET).
Euro - USD was trading at 1.29 down 0.13% while USD - Japanese Yen was trading at 101.67 down 0.34% (00:06 ET).
At 9.25 a.m., the Sensex was trading up 64.95 points or 0.33% at 19,739.28 with 22 components gaining. Meanwhile, the Nifty was trading higher by 5 points or 0.08% at 5,972.05 with 35 components gaining.
