Rupee falls 35 paise against US dollar to 50.72 |

Indian rupee declined against the greenback in morning trade on Wednesday. Rupee was down by 0.35 paise or 0.71% against USD to Rs 50.72 (9.21 a.m.).
At 09.20 a.m., the Sensex was trading down 50.60 points or 0.29% at 17,122.69 with 28 components falling. Meanwhile, the Nifty was trading lower by 23.30 points or 0.45% at 5,199.10 with 47 components falling.
In the spot market, the Dollar Index decreased 0.24% to 79.67 (22:51 ET).
Euro - USD was trading at 1.31 up 0.24% while USD - Japanese Yen was trading at 80.84 down 0.06% (22:44 ET).
