Rupee falls 14 paise against US dollar to 55.31 |

Indian rupee declined against the greenback in morning trade on Monday. Rupee was down by 14 paise or 0.25% against USD to Rs 55.31 (09.25 a.m.).
At 09.27 a.m., the Sensex was trading up 13.26 points or 0.08% at 17,571.00 with 12 components gaining. Meanwhile, the Nifty was trading higher by 3.00 points or 0.06% at 5,323.40 with 23 components gaining.
Euro - USD was trading at 1.22 up 0.04% while USD - Japanese Yen was trading at 78.32 down 0.12% (23:49 ET).
