Indian rupee edged lower against the greenback in morning trade. Rupee was down 0.07% against USD to Rs 45.59 compared to previous close of 45.51. (09.44 a.m.)
In the spot market, the Dollar Index increased 0.123% to 79.83. It touched a high of 79.89 and a low of 79.73 after opening at 79.73. (23:07 ET)
Euro - USD was trading at 1.33 down 0.0032% while USD - Japanese Yen was trading at 83.73, up 0.1355%. (23:10 ET).
