Indian rupee edged lower against the greenback in morning trade. Rupee was down 0.04% against USD to Rs 44.47 compared to previous close of 44.42. (09.51 a.m.)
In the spot market, the Dollar Index dropped 0.104% to 76.96. It touched a high of 77.30 and a low of 76.87 after opening at 76.90. (00:09 ET)
Euro - USD was trading at 1.39 up 0.0031% while USD - Japanese Yen was trading at 80.63, up 0.2340%. (00:08 ET).
