Indian rupee strengthened on Friday, December 26 against the greenback in early trading sessions as investors anticipated a drop in inflation rate. Increased dollar selling by exporters also proved as a supporting factor for the currency. The partially convertible rupee stood at 47.73 against the US dollar; appreciating up to 0.73% than its previous close of 48.06/08 a dollar. Source : myiris.com
