Indian rupee opens higher at 61.07 per dollar |
The Indian rupee opened higher by 8 paise in the early trade at 61.07 per dollar versus 61.15 Friday.
Agam Gupta of Standard Chartered said, “The trade data which could be released today will be closely watched and the market is likely to react if it is away from expectations.”
“Expect exporters to sell above 61.30/dollar levels and the normal oil demand to kick in below 61/dollar. The pair should range between 60.95-61.35/dollar for the day,” he added.
