Indian rupee opens higher at 58.44 per dollar |
Indian rupee has opened higher at 58.44 a dollar on Monday, up 8 paise compared to Friday's closing value of 58.52 a dollar.
Agam Gupta, StanChart Bank says upticks will see supply of dollars from FIIs and exporters. Nationalised banks will continue to buy dollars for RBI," he adds.
He expects the rupee to trade in a range of 58.25-58.65/USD today.
