Comm Min plans to release new Foreign Trade Policy on Apr 1 |

The Commerce Ministry is planning to release new Foreign Trade Policy (FTP) on April 1, sources tell CNBC-TV18, adding that the government is expected to promote value-added exports through this new FTP.
According to sources, the new FTP will be in sync with the government’s Make in India, Digital India programmes. It will also facilitate the ease of doing business in the country.
The new policy will provide sops to specific products’ exports and will be effective for five years, sources say.
