Certificate course on export-import mgmt |
AURANGABAD: The Chamber of Marathwada Industries and Agriculture (CMIA) in association with the Federation of Indian Export Organizations (FIEO), western region, will organize a two-day certificate course on export-import management from Thursday.
The course aims to educate entrepreneurs about various stages of exports in a systematic and methodical manner. "The participants will be imparted practical knowledge and procedures required to be followed with regards to compliances within and outside the country with focus on international market research. More emphasis will be on risk and responsibility through incoterms (International Commercial Terms) between buyers and sellers," said CMIA president Ashish Garde.
"Topics to be covered during the course include introduction to international business, setting up of export organisations, international marketing, shipping, insurance, foreign trade policy and negotiations among others," Garde added.
The course will be conducted by V B Nakul, a winner of silver medal in Central Excise and Customs in TVC Institute of Management. His areas of expertise include strategy planning, training delivery, content development, sales and marketing, operations management and productivity improvement.
