With a view to updating knowledge on maintaining good relations with customers and getting familiar with various financial options available for exporters, the Southern Region of the Federation of Indian Export Organisations, Seafood Exporters Association of India, Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Cashew Export Promotion Council of India along with State Bank of India and MCX Stock Exchange Ltd jointly organised a seminar on ‘Key Account Management and Financing for Exports'.
Inaugurating the seminar, Mr V. Rama Moorthy, General Manager, State Bank of India, said that the Indian economy is in a revival path and GDP level is increasing satisfactorily. Rationalisation of tariff structure and various export promotional measures of the Government and RBI helped in GDP growth.
Mr Anwar Hashim, National President, Seafood Exporters Association of India, Mr P. Prathapachandran, Vice-President, Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and Mr A.J. Tharakan, Past National President of SEAI, spoke on the occasion. Mr R. Ashokan, Director, Southern Region of FIEO, explained the Role of the Federation in export promotion.
