Moody's assigns Baa3 to Export-Import Bank of India's notes |
Moody's Investors Service has assigned a Baa3 rating to Export-Import Bank of India's (Eximbank India) proposed issuance acting through its London branch of benchmark sized AUD fixed-rate senior unsecured notes.
The rating outlook is stable.The notes will be issued under its USD6 billion Medium Term Note (MTN) program. They will have a five-year maturity and will be listed on Singapore Exchange.
The Baa3 rating reflects the status of the proposed notes as senior unsecured obligations of the bank. Eximbank India's standalone credit profile of ba2, and Moody's assessment of the bank's very high dependence on and the high probability of support from the Government of India (Baa3 stable).
