MUMBAI, Jan 27 (Reuters) - Indian soybean futures opened slightly higher on Tuesday on hopes of demand in the spot market, analysts said.
However, a flat to weak international market was weighing on sentiment, they said.
U.S. soybean and corn futures edged lower on Monday following some forecasts for rain in Argentina, where drought is threatening crops. See [ID:nSYD169034]
At 10:33 a.m, March soybean NSBH9 on National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange was at 2,392 rupees per 100 kg, up 0.02 percent.
At 10:34 a.m, March soyoil contract NSOH9 was up 0.31 percent at 473 rupees per 10 kg.
May rapeseed contract NRSK9 was down 0.17 percent at 472.55 rupees per 20 kg.
Indian oilseed and edible oil markets track international prices as the country imports a large part of its edible oil requirement.
