Indian soymeal exports in May fell 71 percent to 89,156 tonnes due to poor demand and lesser soybean arrivals, the Soybean Processors Association of India (SOPA), said on Friday.
The exports of soymeal between October to May was 2.75 million tonnes compared to 4.08 million tonnes during the same period last year, a decline of about 32.5 percent, data from SOPA showed.
