India chana futures may ease in early trade on Monday on sluggish demand and a slight improvement in arrivals in physical markets from major producing states, analysts said.
The benchmark March contract NCHH9 on the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange (NCDEX) ended at 2,300 rupees per 100 kg in the previous trading session.
A sharp rise in prices of summer-sown pulses like tur, urad and moong may cap the losses, they said.
GUAR:
India guar futures may trade higher on Monday on improving export demand and dwindling arrivals, analysts said.
Daily average arrivals have reduced to about 8,000 bags from 20,000 bags per 100 kg a month ago.
March futures contract NGUH9 ended at 1,608 rupees per 100 kg in the previous trading session.
However, profit-taking at higher levels may weigh on prices, analysts added.
