Mumbai, March 12 The US Government's decision to impose an anti-dumping duty of 231.4 per cent on gift boxes and narrow woven ribbons from China for pricing them ‘unfairly' seems to be a blessing in disguise for Indian exporters.
Orbit Exports, one of the largest exporters of specialty made-ups, has reported that its order book has gone up by 50 per cent in just one month after the anti-dumping duty was levied, the company said in a statement on the BSE.
Orbit Exports expects the benefits of this duty and the overall turning around of the export markets to generate good sales through the current year.
