Kochi, Jan. 24 The coir industry has exuded confidence in scaling up its global export orders, resulting from the fairly good enquiries it received at the four-day Domotex Fair, the world's largest international trade fair, connected with the flooring industry, especially carpets, which concluded at Hannover, Germany.
Going by the appreciable number of enquiries received at the nearly 50 Indian coir stalls, the chances of securing greater global export orders are bright, as compared to its previous editions, the Coir Board Chairman, Mr V.S. Vijayaraghavan, who led the Indian coir delegation, said in a statement from Hannover.
