							MUMBAI: India's total spice exports rose 3 percent on year during April-December led by a rise in exports of chilli, ginger and garlic , data from the Spices Board of India showed.
  Total spices exports in April-December stood at 391,560 tonnes, compared with 378,950 tonnes a year ago, the board said on its website on Tuesday.
  In April-December, chilli exports rose 22 percent to 179,500 tonnes.
  Spices, which showed a decline in exports, included pepper, turmeric and cumin seed (jeera).
  Exports of pepper fell 9 percent to 14,000 tonnes in Apr-Dec, that of turmeric fell 13 percent to 35,500 tonnes and jeera fell 37 percent to 24,250 tonnes.
