NOTIFICATION UNDER RULE 173G(7)
Notification No. 25/86-C.E., dated 10-2-1986.
In pursuance of sub-rule (7) of rule 173G of the Central Excise Rules,1944,
and in supersession of the notification of the Government of India in the
Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue and Insurance) No. 134/71-Central
Excises, dated the 10th July, 1971, the Central Government hereby specifies
cotton twist, yarn and threads, all sorts, used for rewinding and falling under
Chapter 52 of the Schedule to the Central Excise Tariff Act, 1985 (5 of 1986) as
excisable goods to which the provisions of the said sub-rule shall apply.
- This notification shall come into force on the 28th day of February,
1986.
