Rules to amend the Baggage Rules,1998
|
G.S.R.392(E).- In exercise of the powers conferred by section 79 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Government makes the following rules further to amend the Baggage Rules,1998, namely:-
1. (1) These rules may be called the Baggage (Amendment) Rules, 2006.
(2) They shall come into force on the 30th day of June, 2006.
2. In the Baggage Rules, 1998, in Annexure IV, after serial number 14, the following shall be inserted, namely:-
Poonch District:
(15) Chakan-da-bagh
(Aseem Kumar)

Note:- The principal rules were published vide notification No. 30/98-Customs (N.T), dated the 2nd June, 1998, G.S.R. 296 (E), dated the 2nd June, 1998 and was last amended vide notification No. 30/2005-Customs (N.T), dated the 4th April, 2005, G.S.R 216 (E), dated the 4th April, 2005.
