PUBLIC NOTICE NO.6(RE-2007)/2004-2009

NEW DELHI, DATED THE 24th May, 2007

In exercise of powers conferred under Paragraph 2.4 of the Foreign Trade Policy 2004-2009, the Director General of Foreign Trade hereby makes the following amendments in Handbook of Procedures, Vol.I :

1. In paragraph 4.22 relating to "Export Obligation(EO) period and its Extension" under Advance authorisation Scheme, third sentence stands substituted as under:-
   
   "In case of Spices{covered by chapter 9 of ITC(HS)} and coconut oil, EO shall be fulfilled within 90 days from the date on which first import consignment is cleared by Customs Authorities."
2. In paragraph 6.7(c ) relating to "Conditions of Import" under EOU Scheme, third sentence stands substituted as under:-
   
   "Similarly, export obligation against import of items {covered by Chapter 9 of ITC(HS)} and coconut oil shall be fulfilled within a period of 90 days from the date on which first import consignment is cleared by Customs Authorities."
