Notification No. 15/ 2010-Customs
New Delhi, the 27th February, 2010
Amendments in the Project import Regulations, 1986
G.S.R. (E).-In exercise of the powers conferred by section 157 of the Customs
Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the C entral Board of Excise and Customs hereby makes
the following regulations further to amend the Project Imports Regulations,
1986, namely :-
- (1) These regulations may be called the Project Imports (Amendment)
Regulations, 2010. (2)They shall come in to force on the 27th day of February,
2010.
- In the Project Imp orts Regulations, 1986, in the Table,-
(i) against Sr. No. 3E, for the entry under column heading Name of the Plant or
Project’, the following shall be substituted, namely:-
“(a) Digital cinema development projects
(b) Digital head end project”;
(ii) after Sr. No. 3 E and the entries relating thereto, the following serial
numbers and entries shall be inserted, namely:-

Note: The principal notification No. 230/1986-Customs, dated the 3rd April,
1986 was published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, vide number G.S.R .
580(E), dated the 3rd April, 1986 and was last amended vide number G.S.R.
127(E), dated the 1st March, 2007.
